Mastering Wrist Cues: Technique for Golf, Tennis & Flexibility
Whether your trying to improve your golf game, doing a medical test or simply want to improve your wrist flexibility, knowing how to properly cup your wrist will help you reach your goal. The cupping of the wrist is more commonly known as a wrist extensor movement. This movement is frequently used in sports such as golf and tennis, where your hand is required to bend at a different angle than that of your arm.
Instructions
Place both arms straight out in front of you at a 90-degree angle, relative to your body. Keep your wrists straight.
With your palms facing the ground , curl the fingers on both hands into fists.
Without moving your elbows or shoulders, slowly roll your fists at the wrist towards the ground, until you reach your maximum range of motion.
Slowly pull your wrists back to the straight position.
