How to Build More Iron in Your Body

Change over to a high iron diet. Eat vegetables, meats and cereals that are high in iron. THere are plenty of different foods such as spinach, salad, asparagus, pease, green beans, livers (any kind), total, product 19, raison bran and special k. There are plenty more out there and this should build up your iron pretty quickly. Stick with the diet until you are no longer anemic.
Take an over the counter iron pill. FDSOL 325 mg is an excellent choice. Your iron should be built back up within a couple of days after starting this iron supplement.
If you are still having problems with low iron, please consult your doctor. He can prescribe a much stronger iron tablet and will start looking for the root of the problem.
Never take more than prescribed for iron as iron overdose is possible. Always consult your physician if you have any questions or concerns.
