Plavix, a prescription drug helpful in preventing blood clots, may be crucial for a patient to take. But, some people find it difficult to swallow pills. In order for a patient to take Plavix, they may need to crush the pill and mix it into a liquid, such as tea. - Plavix pills
- Plastic bag
- Meat tenderizer
- Tea
Instructions
Place Plavix pills in small plastic snack bag.
Lay bag on a hard countertop. If surface is likely to be dented, place something such as a cutting board over the surface to protect it.
Hit the Plavix pills with the smooth side of a meat tenderizer. Keep hitting the pills until they are crushed finely.
Add crushed pills to tea and serve.
