Myelofibrosis Symptoms: Understanding Fever and Common Signs
Fever is not a common or typical symptom of myelofibrosis.
The most common symptoms of myelofibrosis include:
- Abnormal blood counts, such as low red blood cell count (anemia), low platelet count (thrombocytopenia), and high white blood cell count (leukocytosis)
- Weakness, fatigue, and decreased exercise tolerance
- Bone pain or discomfort
- Splenomegaly (enlarged spleen)
- Weight loss
- Night sweats
- Pruritus (itchy skin)
- Abdominal discomfort or early satiety
- Bleeding tendency
