Use the thumb rest to push back the darker part of the Advair Diskus. This should show you the dispenser lever and the mouthpiece.
Slide the dispenser lever back until you hear it click. Place your mouth over the mouthpiece. Breathe in quickly and deeply through your mouth.
Take the diskus out of your mouth and hold your breath for as long as is comfortable. Begin breathing normally once you have held your breath.
Close the Advair Diskus to keep the rest of the medicine intact.
