Evening Cough: Could It Be Asthma or Something Else?
Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease that causes inflammation and narrowing of the airways. It can cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. While asthma can certainly cause coughing, it is not the only possible cause. A cough that occurs at the start of every evening but disappears before bedtime could also be caused by allergies, sinus drainage, or another respiratory condition.
If you are experiencing a persistent cough, it is important to see a doctor to determine the cause and receive appropriate treatment.
