How to Order a Peak Flow Meter
A peak flow meter is a small device that asthma sufferers use to tell how well their medication is working by measuring the amount of air moving through their lungs. A peak flow meter can warn you of an impending asthma attack so you can take the necessary precautions to interrupt it, such as using your quick-acting asthma inhaler.
Instructions
Compare different types of peak flow meters at a shopping site such as Yahoo! Shopping (see Resources). They range in price from $20 for a mechanical one to $70 for a digital one. The digital ones are slightly more accurate.
Use the "Narrow Results" option on the left to filter unwanted search results such as prices outside of your budget or eliminate unwanted brands.
Click on the one you want to purchase, and it will take you to the website that sells it. Click "Add to Cart," then proceed to "Checkout" to pay for your purchase. Pay for the item using a credit card or debit card.
