Singulair Side Effects: What to Know (Adults & Children)

    • In adults and children, Singulair can cause the flu. In children it has also been known to cause diarrhea, chicken pox and ear infections.

    Abdominal Issues

    • Abdominal problems, indigestion, heartburn and gastrointestinal infections are side effects that may affect both children and adults.

    Aches, Pains &Sore Throat

    • Headaches and sore throats are side effects that can happen to children and adults who take Singulair.

    Sinus &Lungs

    • Sinus infections, pneumonia, nasal congestion and laryngitis are some side effects that may affect anyone.

    Less Common

    • Though less common, some more serious symptoms are possible, including your asthma and allergies becoming worse. Depression, hallucinations, possible liver damage and having an allergic reaction are also possible.
