Early Pregnancy Abdominal Tightness: What to Expect
In the early stages of pregnancy, it's not typical for the abdomen to feel tight. The uterus is still small and below the pelvis, so it doesn't cause noticeable changes to the abdomen's shape or texture. As the pregnancy progresses, the uterus gradually grows and begins to rise into the abdominal cavity. This growth typically occurs around the 12th week of pregnancy, and it's when many people start to notice a slight protrusion of the abdomen. The tightness or protrusion of the abdomen becomes more pronounced in the later stages of pregnancy as the uterus continues to expand to accommodate the growing fetus.Gastric Cancer - Related Articles
