3.Prenatal radiation exposure:
- Occurs when a pregnant woman is exposed to radiation.
- This can lead to fetal malformations, mental retardation, and other developmental problems in the child.
- The risk of these effects depends on the amount of radiation exposure and the stage of pregnancy.
