Many of the early scientists who studied radiation did not die early deaths. However, some did due to the unsafe practices during the early days of studying this science.
Initially, the effects of radiation were unknown, and safety precautions were not taken seriously. As a result, many scientists were exposed to high levels of radiation, leading to various health issues, including cancer and other diseases.
