Global Cancer Incidence: A 10-Year Increase & Key Factors
The incidence of new cancer cases has been steadily increasing over the past 10 years. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of new cancer cases worldwide increased by 20% between 2010 and 2020. This means that there were an estimated 19 million new cases of cancer in 2020 compared to 15.9 million new cases in 2010. The increase in cancer incidence is mainly due to a combination of factors, including population growth and ageing, as well as changes in lifestyle and environmental factors.Other Cancers - Related Articles
