Understanding Mouth Cancer: Symptoms, Risk Factors & Early Detection
Mouth cancer, also known as oral cancer, is found inside the mouth on the tongue, gums and cheeks. This type of cancer is also associated with cancer of the lips, throat and sinuses. In most cases, mouth cancer strikes people older than 45. Smokers and smokeless tobacco users are far more likely to develop mouth cancer than any other group.
