What is the cause of angiomyolipoma?
Angiomyolipomas are caused by a mutation in the TSC1 or TSC2 gene, which are responsible for producing proteins called hamartin and tuberin that help control cell growth and division. Mutations in these genes lead to the abnormal growth of blood vessels, smooth muscle cells, and fat cells, resulting in the formation of angiomyolipomas.Lymphoma - Related Articles
