Catherine of Aragon's Death: Cause & Health History

Catherine of Aragon died of cancer, although the exact type of cancer is not known. She had been suffering from ill health for some time before her death, and had been treated for a variety of ailments, including a swollen knee and a cough. In the final months of her life, she became increasingly weak and frail, and eventually passed away on January 7, 1536.
