Single Cell Rectal Carcinoma: Treatment Options & Outlook
Single cell carcinomas are extremely rare, and there is no evidence to suggest that chemotherapy would be an effective treatment. Chemotherapy is typically used to treat cancers that have spread to multiple sites in the body, and it is not typically effective against early-stage cancers that are confined to a single location.
