hCG and Cancer: Risks and Considerations
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone produced during pregnancy. It is sometimes used as a medication to treat certain medical conditions, such as hormone imbalances and infertility. However, it is not typically used to treat cancer. In fact, hCG can actually promote the growth of some types of cancer, such as ovarian cancer and testicular cancer.
