Eclipse Chemotherapy Pump: Clearing Air and Troubleshooting
Chemotherapy pumps allow for continuous infusion of chemotherapy drugs into the patient's body intravenously. The pumps are connected to an intravenous (IV) catheter. According to I Flow, Eclipse pumps are ideal for delivering between 0.5 milliliters (mL) per hour to 10 mL per hour. Your chemotherapy care team will show you how to use the pump, including how to clear air from the tubing as necessary. If you have any questions or problems, call your doctor.Things You'll Need
