Vaginal Dysplasia: Symptoms, Causes & When to See a Doctor
Vaginal dysplasia, a term relating to types of vaginal and cervical cancers, can happen with little to no advanced warning. Although symptoms can be subtle or even absent, there are a few symptoms that can warm you that there might be a problem.-
Bleeding

Any unusual vaginal bleeding could be a sign of vaginal dysplasia and should be looked at by your OB/GYN.
Odor

Unpleasant or unusual vaginal odor can indicate vaginal dysplasia.
Vaginal Pain

Any pain in the vagina or around the cervix could be a sign of vaginal dysplasia.
Other Pain

Vaginal dysplasia can also cause pain in other parts of the body, such as in the back.
Swelling

Swelling, or water retention, in the leg area could be a symptom of vaginal dysplasia. If you are experiencing leg swelling along with the other symptoms listed here, it could mean you may have vaginal dysplasia.
