Cervical Cancer Symptoms: Early Signs & What to Watch For
Cervical cancer usually does not cause any signs or symptoms in the early stages. As the cancer grows, it may cause:
- Vaginal bleeding after intercourse, between periods, or after menopause.
- Watery, blood-tinged vaginal discharge that may be heavy and have a foul odor.
- Pelvic pain or pain during intercourse.
- Periods that are longer or heavier than usual.
- Unexplained weight loss or fatigue.
- Loss of appetite.
- Bloating in the abdomen.
- Leg swelling.
- Constipation.
- Rectal bleeding or pain.
- Frequent urination or incontinence.
- Backache.
- Hip pain.
