What is a lesion of bone cancer?
A lesion of bone cancer is an abnormal growth of cells in the bone that forms a mass or tumor. It can be either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Benign lesions are typically non-invasive and don't spread to other parts of the body, while malignant lesions are invasive and can spread, or metastasize, to other areas. Lesions of bone cancer can cause a variety of symptoms such as pain, swelling, bone weakness, changes in skin coloration, warmth in the affected area, and fatigue. The treatment and prognosis of bone cancer depends on the type of lesion, its location, the size of the tumor, and its biological behavior.Bone Cancer - Related Articles
