Uterus Location: Anatomical Position Relative to Bladder & Ovaries
Relative Location of the uterus:
- Urinary Bladder: The uterus is located just above the urinary bladder. It is anterosuperior to the urinary bladder. The two organs are separated by a fascial layer.
- Ovaries: The ovaries are located superiorly and posteriorly to the uterus, on either side. The ovaries are attached to the broad ligament, a fold of mesentery that connects the uterus to the pelvic sidewall.
