Vaseline and Mosquito Bites: What the Science Says
There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that Vaseline helps relieve the itching or discomfort caused by mosquito bites. While using Vaseline or any other type of thick and occlusive substance can help provide temporary relief from itching by creating a physical barrier between the skin and the air, it does not address the underlying cause of the itching. For that, over the counter anti-itch creams, antihistamines, or cold compress may be more appropriate remedies.Mosquito Bites - Related Articles
