* Behind a tree or bush. This is the most common option for boys who need to pee outdoors. Find a secluded spot where you won't be seen, and make sure to stand close to the tree or bush so that your urine doesn't splash back on you.

* In a stream or river. If you're near a body of water, you can also pee in it. Just make sure that the water is flowing and that there aren't any people or animals downstream.

* Off the side of a cliff or bridge. This is a more dangerous option, but it can be done if you're careful. Find a spot where you can safely lean over the edge and make sure that you're not going to fall.
