CNA Training: Understanding Costs & Requirements
There are no certified nursing assistant (CNA) classes available online for free. CNA training programs must meet specific state requirements, which include supervised patient care training. To become a CNA, you must complete a state-approved training program and pass a competency exam.
The tuition for CNA programs varies widely depending on the school and length of the program. Financial assistance may be available to help cover the cost of training, such as state grants or the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Many job centers or Workforce Development Boards offer this program. Also, some healthcare facilities offers scholarships for CNA or Nursing school.
Check with your local workforce development center to see if there are any affordable or tuition-free options available in your area.
