Canine influenza
Canine influenza (also known as dog flu) is a contagious respiratory disease in dogs caused by canine influenza virus types A and B. The viruses were detected during an outbreak of respiratory disease affecting racing greyhounds in Florida in late January 2004 with clinical presentation similar to canine infectious trachaeobronchitis, but of greater severity.
