Understanding Juvenile Parkinson's Disease: Symptoms & Information
Junior Parkinson's is not a well known or accepted medical term. Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, which typically worsens over time.
Symptoms associated with the progressive condition may include tremors, slowed movement, muscle rigidity, impaired posture and balance along with non motor features like constipation, difficulty sleeping, low voice., changes in thinking processes etc. These can present themselves at the age above and around of sixty as young-onset Parkinson's disease, also referred to as early onset Parkinson's disease. Early onset refers to Parkinson's symptoms emerging under the age of 50 yrs although, there is no distinction or term called ‘junior parkinsonism.'
