Natural Wart Removal: Using Garlic for a Pain-Free Solution
Warts are a manifestation of the human papilloma virus (HPV) and they occur in 7 to 10 percent of the population, particularly affecting women, children and the elderly. The powerful antibacterial and antiseptic properties of garlic can help you remove warts naturally and painlessly.Things You'll Need
- Fresh garlic
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Bandages
Instructions
At the end of the day, carefully wash and dry your hands and the area surrounding the wart.
Peel a fresh garlic clove and slice it in half. Apply the freshly-cut garlic clove onto the wart, taking care to treat only the wart itself and not the surrounding skin. Discard the garlic.
Place a bandage over the wart. Leave the bandage on overnight.
In the morning, remove the bandage and carefully wash the area surrounding the wart again.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 every night until the wart disappears, which usually happens after 2 to 6 weeks.
