Herbal Treament to Stop Hair Loss for Women
While hair loss is less prevalent in women, it is not completely non-existent. In the United States alone, 21 million women suffer from hair loss, compared to 35 million men. Women who suffer from hair loss do so for a variety of reasons such as heredity, stress, poor nutrition and illness. - Lavender essential oil
- Bay essential oil
- Strainer
- Dried rosemary
- Dried sage
- Dried nettle
- Dried peach leaf
- Dried burdock
- Ground nettle
- Ground rosemary
- Ground sage
Instructions
Massage and Essential Oils
Mix six drops of bay and lavender essential oils with four ounces of a carrier oil such as almond or soybean oil.
Massage this mixture into your scalp.
Leave the mixture on your scalp for 20 minutes.
Add three drops of bay essential oil to the amount of shampoo you would normally use to wash your hair.
Wash your hair with the shampoo and bay essential oil drops.
Rosemary, Sage, Nettle, Burdock and Peach Leaf Shampoo
Add water to a pan.
Add rosemary, sage, peach leaf, nettle and burdock to the water.
Bring the herbs and water to a boil for 10 minutes.
Strain the herbs from the water.
Allow the mixture to cool down until it is warm.
Wash your hair every day with the liquid to stimulate the hair root and thicken your hair.
Rosemary, Nettles and Sage Hair Lotion
Add one ounce of ground rosemary, one half of an ounce of ground nettles and two ounces of ground sage to one pint of ethyl alcohol.
Steep this mixture for one week.
Strain the mixture to remove the ground herbs.
Add one ounce of water and one ounce of castor oil to the liquid that is left over after straining the herbal matter out.
Apply this herbal hair lotion to your hair just before bed, or before you wash your hair.
