Knox Gelatin & Dark Circles Under Eyes

Dark under-eye circles can be the result of many factors, but some simple remedies can help reduce their appearance. One easy topical remedy uses Knox gelatin to diminish darkness under eyes.

    • Some people are genetically inclined to develop dark circles. Broken blood vessels, lack of sleep and poor diet can also contribute.

    • Knox gelatin is a simple gelatin powder that can be found at most grocery stores.

    How It Helps

    • Knox gelatin is extremely high in vitamin K, which is a key ingredient in combating dark circles. Vitamin K helps strengthen capillary walls so blood vessels won̵7;t break as easily.

    Application

    • Combine 1/4 to 1 tsp. of Knox gelatin with 1 tsp. of hot water. Use a cotton ball to apply the liquid under the eyes. Rest about 30 minutes and then rinse your skin with cool water.

    Results

    • Use the remedy every day for a week to lessen the look of dark circles. After the initial week, applications can be reduced to once or twice a week.
