Turmeric for Colds: Benefits, Uses & Dosage - A Comprehensive Guide
For centuries, groups of people have been using herbs and spices to cure what ails them. Some of them are well known, such as the use of Vitamin C to aid in alleviating the symptoms of the common cold. Others, such as the use of turmeric to help with a cold, are not as well known. - Pot
- Water
- Ladle
- Measuring spoons
- Liquid measuring cup
- Milk
- Turmeric
Instructions
Boil at least two cups of water in a medium or small pot.
Place ladle in pot to warm it.
Measure out 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Measure 1/4 cup milk.
Place turmeric and milk into ladle.
Lower ladle into water, but do not allow water to enter ladle.
Allow milk to heat to a slight boil.
Remove ladle from pot.
Pour turmeric milk into mug, stir and drink.
