Pyrex BPA-Free? Understanding Glass Types & Safety
Not all Pyrex products are BPA-free.
While older Pyrex products were made with borosilicate glass which does not contain BPA, some newer Pyrex products are made with soda-lime glass which can contain BPA.
To ensure that a Pyrex product is BPA-free, look for the BPA-free label or the recycling code 5 on the bottom of the product.
