Making an herbal compress is beneficial for sties as well, this can be done by taking 2 tbsp. of each herb ( chamomile, agrimony, thyme or marigold) and seep in 1 cup of boiling water. Seep for 15 minutes and drain, wring out the gauze and place on the sty directly for 15 minutes. As the compress becomes cooled, replace with a fresh one. This should be done at least 4 times a day.
You can also use an herbal eye wash to help get rid of your sty. You will take 2 tbsp. of dried raspberry leaves and pour 1 cup of boiling water over it. Let it seep for 15 minutes and then strain. You will use this as a warm eye rinse several times each day until the sty is gone.
