Understanding Vitiligo: Causes, Symptoms & Management
Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder wherein the melanocytes cause destruction of melanin, skin coloring pigment. Impairment of melanocytes results in pigmentation. White patches appear on skin. The patches may even spread to the mucus membranes and retina. Hairs growing in the affected areas may show signs of pigmentation. These patches usually occur in the areas exposed to the sun. Face, arms, feet, hands, neck, and areas of the chest are more vulnerable to vitiligo.

Exposing your body to sunlight for a few minutes everyday will help a lot.However make sure you do not overdo this.
Mixing some lemna minor with one of honey and water. Take this solution twice a day. The solution will facilitate in reactivating melanocytes. Try rubbing fresh lemna minor juice and rub it on the affected areas of the skin.
St. John's wort juice and dilute it with water and drink it everyday for at least 5 months. This will enhance body's resistance to sunlight.
