How to Get Rid Of Pink Eye Without Medication
Before using natural pinkeye treatments, keep your eyes clean by wiping them regularly with a cotton ball and warm, sterile water. Do not wear contact lenses or touch your eyes. Use warm compresses to soothe irritation.
Place a moist, cool chamomile tea bag on your eye for 10 minutes at a time, or use a small cup to soak your eye area in the steeped tea.
Make an eyebright tincture. Add five drops of the eyebright herb to 1 cup cooled boiled water. Swab on your eye.
Mix honey with warm, sterile water and place the mixture directly in the eye. Although this natural antiseptic is typically effective, it does sting.
